The Leeds 5 piece definitely hit the spot with this EP. Released officially on Friday 15th May 2020 Clouded Minds & Silver Lines is one of a few reasons why I love this band. The others being; I saw them live in York in 2018, Bury The Ghosts and Guilty are brilliant EPs too. Clouded Minds & Silver Lines is Sertraline’s third EP and it shows how much the band has grown and cemented themselves in the metal scene. 5 tracks of tech-metal goodness. Inside Out’s Jinjer-esque vibe really sets the tone. Mean To Me II is an in your face reprise of the track from the first release. 2205 starts off with an atmospheric intro, but those anthemic vocals with the peppering of screams and riffing tells you what the score is. Screaming For Sleep and Isolation are total lockdown anthems. Totally off the charts as a whole. Sertraline’s best yet. These guys keep on impressing me.
